About Yourself:
My name is Marion G. Myhre and I have been a TVI and Horticultural Therapist at Perkins School for the Blind, for more than 20 years. I teach Secondary students in Horticulture, Horticultural Therapy, and Vocational Experience classes, both on-campus and within the surrounding community. I am currently a graduate student at UMASS Boston, engaged on a new journey to become an Orientation & Mobility specialist. I enjoy my daily work with high school students, as I engage a range of blind, visually impaired, and multiple disability students in horticlture activities and vocational training opportunities. I also work with young children through adults, in various Outreach programs and events. I continue to appreciate the range of professional training opportunities I have explored through Perkins eLearning.
