About Yourself: 

Julie Johnson is an Itinerant Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Assistive Technology Specialist in St. Louis, MO.  She loves learning about new ipad technology, funding options, implementation ideas, and new ideas integrating low and high technology into a student's daily routines. Recently, she has also had the option of designing and managing several webinars on using the iPad as a piece of assistive technology for children with visual impairments and additional parents resource training on low vision and resources.  She looks forward to presenting more webinars in the future on topical information in the field. She also shares many of her new ideas and opinions on assistive technology on her blog Adapted Innovation at adaptedinnovation.wordpress.com
