Instant Pot: Bluetooth enabled crock pot/pressure cooker

Crock pot and pressure cooker fully controlled by an accompanying app.

"There's an app for that!"  Yes, there really is an app to control a crock pot!  Classic crock pots had a simple switch that moved between three options: off, low, and high.  Now, crock pots have all kinds of settings and touch pad-like buttons, making them challenging for users with visual impairments.  Now there is a new crock pot in town - the new Bluetooth Enabled Instant Pot!  This is a combination crock pot and a pressure cooker.  Use the accompanying Android or iOS app to program and monitor cooking in the Instant Pot.

I'm considering one of these cookers and it's exciting to know that they can be used easily with Bluetooth. I was surprised to find out, though, that the user manual says they shouldn't be used by or near individuals with disabilities. Someone pointed this out to me and I confirmed it through a Google search. We need to communicate with the manufacturers to make sure they remove that wording since an Instant Pot can be used responsibly in accessible ways.

I see that Insta Pot is very popular for making such time of multi-functionality cooker.

I googled and found that this is an 8-in-1 electric pressure cooker. Am I right?

The eight cooking functionalities are:

  • Pressure Cooker
  • Slow Cooker
  • Rice Cooker
  • Steamer
  • Saute
  • Yogurt Maker
  • Cake Maker
  • And Warmer

If this electric pressure cooker has so many functionalities so it is really a good cooker to be kept in all family kitchen. Because it solves your most of the cooking related needs.

I believe the InstantPot Duo is a 7-1 device. You listed "cake maker" that was not included in the description. However, the InstantPot Duo Eva is a 9-1 and includes "bake" feature.
