Windows 10 May Update

Developers continuously work on improving their software. Windows 10 (May 2019 release) has numerous accessibility improvements including:

  • Bigger, brighter mouse pointers
  • Magnifier improvements
  • Numerous Narrator (Screen reader) improvements

Narrator also has new shortcut commands:

  • Windows key + Ctrl + N: Quickly access Narrator's Settings
  • Narrator + O: Reads the Advanced details of the control being focused on
  • Narrator + V: Increase verbosity levels
  • Shift + Narrator + V: Decrease verbosity levels
  • Narrator + 5 twice quickly: Read current item spelled out
