This iBook is about animals and where they live (i.e. home, backyard, farm, etc.). Each page shows a different animal or location and plays sounds that coincide with the image.  See more iBooks created by Dr. Gary Bishop's students. I am a retired special education teacher. My 9 year old grandson has CVI. He is in the beginning of phase III. He reads at approximately grade 1 level. These images, with their animal sounds are perfect for CVI children. The only suggestion I have is with regards to the font and spacing between words. I recommend that you use capital letters only where appropriate and double or triple space between the words. You could reduce your font size to allow for the spacing. Thank you for all of the hard work that went into this iBook!

Thank you for the suggestions - increasing the space between letters would be beneficial for many emerging readers! Thanks for your comments about these iBooks.
