Virtual Learning Tips for Visually Impaired Learners

How to make gen ed classroom materials accessible for students with low vision during remote learning.

After several weeks of distance learning, I have made note of the things that can be done to enhance the learning experience for our students with visual impairments, but many of these tips will benefit all students. 

These tips are centered around tech that teachers are using for distance learning and are geared towards low vision students. The tips are to help those classroom teachers presenting live or recorded virtual content to students. Stay tuned for tips on distance learning for students with severe visual impairments including braille readers. 

Teachers of the Visually Impaired, please share with parents and staff both teaching and supporting students with visual impairments.
