Farm Buildings Book

Down on the farm resources!

Kids and adults love to learn and experience life on the farm. This book is about 12 farming terms used on the farm or within a farm building. I learned the farm jargon since marrying a farmer and living on our farm. Some local farms in your state may have visitor days. It can be an exciting field trip or O&M lesson for our students due to the new jargon, the sounds and the smells that are unique to a farm. My husband can drive down the road with an open window and he can tell the corn is growing by the smell in the air! What a unique experience would that be for a child with a visual impairment.
