This tutorial explores how to best use technology in the classroom to meet the needs of students with visual impairments or blindness. It includes information about how to determine which technology best fits your student’s needs, how technology can be use in the classroom to make information accessible to all your students, tips about how to incorporate technology and some of the best apps, software, and tools you can use to accommodate your students.
There are three webcasts included in this training module that demonstrate Technology Tools for Teachers. Participants will earn 1.5 ACVREP credits, 1.5 CTLE credits, or 1.5 PDPs by viewing three designated webcasts and taking an online quiz.
By registering for ACVREP, CTLE credits, or Continuing Education credits, you will be provided with a self-paced tutorial using video clips and other resources related to this topic, as well as an online test to assess your knowledge.
