Nathalie de Wit is the Lead Teacher at Perkins School for the Blind, Lower School, and has taught in a self-contained classroom with students who are blind and have significant additional disabilities. Nathalie has also taught in a special education classroom at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind, School for the Blind.
In 2018, Division 3 of AERBVI (Multiple Disabilities and Deafblind) presented Nathalie with the Samuel Gridley Howe Award for Outstanding Practice, for her exemplary service to individuals with visual impairments and multiple disabilities, including deafblindness.
