I have been a TVI since 1998.  I work with students age birth to five in NC who are enrolled in the Early Learning Sensory Support Program.  I work with children in their home and school settings.  I have worked with many children over the years who have been diagnosed with CVI.  In 2017, I completed the online Cortical Visual Impairment course with Dr. Roman-Lantzy.  After completion of the course, my understanding of CVI and knowledge about the CVI Range was greatly enhanced. I have worked with students in all three phases of CVI and observed how students' progress on the CVI Range following interventions and program planning focused on the student and the ten characteristics of CVI.  I believe individuals are life-long learners and look forward to continuing to grow in my knowledge about CVI and The CVI Range. I wish to be a resource and support for families, TVIs, and service providers who work with students with CVI.
