When I first started working at Perkins there seemed to not be too much information and/or resources regarding CVI. As the years went by, trainings and webinars began to surface about CVI. This allowed me to take part in them along with the actual class that was run by Christine Roman. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to take part in the online class to learn more on the subject. Within my program, we have been given the opportunity to have several workshops with Ellen Mazel and Christine Roman, herself. Once again, the knowledge that they both share give teachers the resources to better work with our students. I have had different students throughout the years with CVI, and currently have ten students on my caseload with that diagnosis.
I am available to:
Provide ongoing, direct service to a child with CVI within 50 miles of my home address
Provide ongoing consultation and technical assistance to an educational team working with a child with CVI
Provide one time evaluation services and consultation
