I am a Teacher Consultant of the Deafblind at Consortium Centre Jules-Léger (www.CCJL.ca) based in Ottawa.  One of my strenghts is my keen sens of observation of children with various etiologies with the goal to develop Child Centred educational plans. CCJL is a one-of-a-kind school that supports kids with various educational needs including those with hearing and vision losses. We service Francophone families and Schools across Ontario.   Oui, je parle français !

Over and beyond completing CVI assessments for all age groups, I have trained teachers and educators, school support staff, parents, as well as medical professionals. I am passionate about my work. I have translated documents needed and created resources in French.  Presentations and workshops are in formal or casual settings: symposiums, PD days, staff rooms or on a kitchen table! Planned or spontaneous, I thrive on taking advantage of teachable moments! The kids are the driving force who help me hone my skills!  Au plaisir !
