I have worked with students with CVI in my role as TVI for over 8 years. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to increase my skills with the CVI Range as well as developing and implementing appropriate strategies by participating in the CVI Leadership program, the CVI Symposium presented at Perkins, year-long professional development series with Dr. Roman, and workshops on scoring the CVI Range. In addition, I work as a coordinator within Perkins Community Programs, providing mentorship and support to teachers working with the birth-three population of students with visual impairments in Massachusetts. Many of these young children are diagnosed with CVI, or are identified as having conditions associated with CVI. I have also worked closely with Early Intervention programs throughout the state to provide information about the "red flag" conditions associated with CVI and to provide resources and support.
I am available to:
Provide ongoing, direct service to a child with CVI within 50 miles of my home address
Provide ongoing consultation and technical assistance to an educational team working with a child with CVI
Provide one time evaluation services and consultation
