There are many activities in the daily school environment that can translate to work skills in the community.  Stapling the school newsletter is one such activity. It works on organizing and one-to-one correspondence in addition to stapling and practicing the pincer grasp. The activity can be done cooperatively, with one student collating and another stapling the collated papers. Lessons include Career Education, Orientation and Mobility, and Independent Living Skills.
