When Are You Blue?

Accessible iBook was created to explain blue items for students with visual impairments.

This iBook delves into the color BLUE! Using bright colored images and sounds, the book describes blue as the color for “Calm and Sadness” and uses different subjects that are blue including the ocean, glaciers, and a peacock! See more iBooks created by Dr. Gary Bishop’s students. This iBook was created to explain the color blue to students with visual impairments.

Note: This iBook was created using the free app iBooks Author on an Apple computer. Note: IBooks Author is no longer available, but books created with this app can still be opened in Apple Books (formerly iBooks).

Click on the attached file to open the When Are You Blue iBook. You must have the free Apple Books app on your computer or iOS device to view the book.  If using an Apple computer, the book will be physically located in your Download Folder (down arrow symbol located in the Tool bar at the top right).  Selecting the story (When Are You Blue) will open the book in Apple Books.  If you are using an iPad, select the attached book. Then, select Open In Apple Books.
