LEAP: computer games

Computer sounds games designed for students with visual impairments and blindness.

LEAP (Listen – LEArn – Play) is a series of three basic computer games designed for students with visual impairments and blindness.  These free games introduce students to using only a few basic keys and how to navigate with two- and three-dimensional sound.

Looking for simple games that will prepare your students for using more complex applications such as scientific graphing calculators?  Try these simple and fun LEAP games!

The games work on PCs and Apple computers.  Stereo headphones are recommended.

Your helpers, Elektra or Thodoris, guide you with their voices through the menu by pressing Q or W.

Your opponent hits the ball and you try to return it.  You and your opponent’s skills will improve as you advance through the levels.  Play with the left and right keys and press Enter to call on your assistant, Electra or Thodoris.
