Camp Tuhsmeheta (Touch-Smell-Hear-Taste) is a 300 acre outdoor education facility for students who are blind/visually impaired.  We offer our site to youth organizations and school groups as an outdoor learning environment.  Educational groups pay a rate of $100/day for a group up to 75 persons to use the property.  The rate includes meals.  Camp Tuhsmeheta is owned and operated by the State of Michigan, Department of Education-Low Incidence Outreach.

Guide Dogs for the Blind

Seven qualified blind and visually impaired teens aged 14 to 17 are selected to explore the companionship, independence and responsibility of the Guide Dog mobility lifestyle.
