Perkins Scout is a searchable database of carefully evaluated online resources related to blindness and visual impairment. The website mascot, a dog guide named Scout, will help you retrieve the information you’re looking for; all of it has been reviewed by Perkins experts and organized for your convenience.
Scout will guide you through a range of topics, including general information on blindness, help for families with relatives who are visually impaired, and resources for educators and other professionals.  We want to hear from you! Please share your comments or post your own resources and experiences.  With your help, our goal is to make Perkins Scout a centralized hub providing the most reliable and authoritative information about all aspects of living with blindness and visual impairments.
If you are looking specifically for information on deafblindness, you may find the National Center on Deaf-Blindness (NCDB) helpful.
