There are 3 sessions included in this training module that provide theoretical and practical applications for assessing and teaching students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities the skills to gain social competence and emotional stability.
The tutorial uses the text Keys to Educational Success: Teaching Students with Visual Impairments and Multiple Disabilities, which is available from AFB Press.
Participants will earn 15 ACVREP credits, 15 CTLE credits, or 15 PDP/CE credits by viewing the video presentations and lectures, and completing the assignments.
This is a web-based, self-guided professional development activity for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TVIs), Orientation & Mobility Specialists, teachers of students with moderate/severe disabilities, teachers of deafblind students, & related service personnel.
