TVI/O&M Specialist and Director of Equal Eyes Vision Services
Degree: M.S./M.Sc
Experience:
I have been a TVI and O&M Specialist for nearly 20 years and have had dozens of students with CVI over those years.  I began reading Dr. Roman's CVI book in 2016 and felt compelled to do more for children and their families with CVI.  I completed the Perkins CVI course in Winter 2017 and learned so much! I have since attended the PCVI Society Conference in Nebraska, spent a week learning with Dr. Roman at her Phase III CVI bootcamp in June 2017 and spent 2 days co-scoring patients with Dr. Roman at her clinic. There's always more to learn, as each child and situation is so unique.  I am excited to be CVI endorsed, so that I can be a greater resource for families and professionals.  It is my mission to impact lives and create a CVI movement in North Carolina and beyond!
I am available to:
  • Provide ongoing consultation and technical assistance to an educational team working with a child with CVI
  • Provide one time evaluation services and consultation
  • Provide training to an educational team
  • Provide consultation and support to family
  • I am willing to travel
