Speech Language Pathologist
Degree: M.S./M.Sc
Experience:
My focus as a Speech Pathologist is working with children with complex feeding disorders, as well as motor speech disorders and complex communication needs. The common theme amongst many of the children I treated for speech and feeding was that their parents often reported that they were not sure if their children could see. This led me to do extensive research about Cortical Visual Impairment. I have been administering the CVI Range on my patients for years, and I took Dr. Christine Roman’s class with Perkins on Cortical Visual Impairment to obtain more guided training on administering the CVI Range. The CVI Range Assessment is part of all comprehensive speech and feeding evaluations I conduct for children with indicators for CVI, to ensure that all children I work with are supported by accommodating for their visual skills and needs.
I am available to:
  • Provide ongoing, direct service to a child with CVI within 50 miles of my home address
  • Provide ongoing consultation and technical assistance to an educational team working with a child with CVI
  • Provide one time evaluation services and consultation
  • Provide training to an educational team
  • Provide consultation and support to family
  • I am willing to travel
